Bansei Royal Resorts Hikkaduwa Limited, a hotel in Sri Lanka's popular
beach resort town of Hikkaduwa will be listed in its second board, the
Colombo Stock Exchange said
Bansei, a Japan based firm which had made several investments in Sri
Lanka, owns a 39 percent stake in the hotel which has 34 rooms, an
official said.
The company's 53.7 million shares will be listed on the 'Diri Savi'
second board of the exchange, through a process of introduction where
subscriptions need not be collected from the public before the float.
But at least 10 percent of the firm must be held by shareholders who are not in control.
